If you are looking for a tall, dark, and handsome Stranger is your pup.  He had a rough start of unknown origins when he was left to fend for himself on a country road.  Luckily he found his foster family to coax him in out of the cold.

Stranger has slowly grown to trust and love humans again.  We are so proud of how much improvement he has made learning to be a family dog again.  He behaves well during the day outside in his kennel with his chew toys (no digging). He is also house broke and has stayed indoors with little issues (just don't leave leather shoes out).  He can sit on command and is very smart and eager to learn.  He currently lives in harmony with several other dogs and cats. He also shares a home with 4 children ages from 3 to 12 years, but prefers older children. He weighs in at 70 lbs because he loves TREATS!  Stranger enjoys wrestling with other dogs, playing in water, and the outdoors. He is doing better with meeting new people, baths, and loud noises.  He is still working on riding in the car and chasing cars down the driveway.

Stranger is working on fetch, leash and crate training. He's a  very active dog that would do well in an active home that would possibly give him a chance at some sports or advanced training of some kind.  

Stranger needs a forever family that can give him the love and attention he deserves.
