He is about 18 months old, a neutred male in South/Western Tennessee. Sarge was rescued from the pound, but he is a little more than his current owner can handle due to the owner physical disability. Plus the current dogs in the household are not happy with Sarge, although he just wants to play. Malinois-style play is not for the faint of heart though. Sarge gets very excited when he sees other dogs, and needs some leash training!! He is a very smart and friendly, and currently, bored out of his ever loving mind and bursting at the seams with pent-up energy!!! Sarge has a bit of separation anxiety, and can jump a 5 foot fence He will not attempt this if supervised. His owner has been working with a trainer and has been to the vet, and both feel Sarge has a genetic condition very common to working breeds called “FOMO”. In other words: Fear of Missing Out!!!!! Sarge very much would like to be a part of your life, as much as possible! With proper training and exercise, he would probably be very content to chill in his crate or the house when his people are gone. Sarge would love a home where his people are home more often. He would do well with a fenced in yard where he can run around and play ball, supervised of course!! Sarge would probably love another big, strong dog to play with as well. And of course, someone who would give him lots of attention in the form of love, training, and exercise. Sarge is a beautiful, smart, affectionate, good dog, and in the right home, he would flourish!! Sarge has not been around cats, probably not a good idea. He has not shown any aggression, but no kids under 10 preferred.
