Fritz is a 4-5 year old neutered male. He is a balanced boy who has had a tough life. He used to be afraid of everything and everyone, but with plenty of TLC and training, he has become quite the gentleman.

Fritz is still leery of fast hand movements and "flappy" things like plastic bags, towels and blankets. Could be from past disciplinary measures because he will tear up a bed or blanket. He never messes with trash or anything else when left loose in the house alone.

Fritz prefers to be where you are. While he is used to a fenced in yard, he can be trusted off leash once he becomes used to you. He rides well in the car by laying down in the back and can travel for long hours without a potty break. He is very house broken as well. He is not crate trained. I never tried it due to his anxiety. 

He has been allowed on my furniture, and loves to lay on my lap.

He is obedience trained but needs a little work yet on stay. He heels, sits, goes down (lay down), drops whatever is in his mouth on command, loads in a vehicle and waits. He knows English and Dutch commands. Dutch gets quicker results. He is interested in squirrels but will not chase them if I tell him not to.

He is balanced in a pack. He loves kids and other dogs. He's not reactive with food or toys.

He prefers to be active and will pace if he is bored. His favorite toys is a ball. He holds it in his mouth while he does other activities like running around outside.

He's an easy keeper and maintains his weight with 1 cup of high quality dog food twice a day. 

He is fully vaccinated and on heartworm and flea prevention medicines.
