Genni was found on the side of the road by a good Samaritan and taken to Animal Shelter. She had an local animal shelter. The shelter's Veterinarian attempted to put the leg back in the hip joint but was unsuccessful. Genni's owner was given a deadline to pick her up but never showed up to claim her. Genni had to have a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO). Her recovery time is 6 weeks so no running, only leash walking. A quiet foster home that can help her heal and discover her true personality is ideal.
Genni has already shown "Squirrel drive" so I would not trust her around cats or small dogs until she is better and can be safely tested.
