Diamond was found running wild in a neighborhood near Fort Worth.  She found kindness and food so she stayed in the neighborhood for a few weeks.  She was picked up by a foster family and the rest is history.  The vet guesses she’s 3-5 years old and weighs 65 pounds.  She’s got a dark coat and shorter hair……less sweeping required.  When found she was heartworm positive but she’s finished up all her treatment now.  She’s spayed with all her shots and microchip in place.  The house has three other dogs (two Belgians and a “ferocious” pug) that’s she’s gotten along with great for the most part.  When she comes into the house she settles down and does well. There’s a 6ft fence and we’ve never seen her try to jump it. There are also 2 children in the house and she does great with them, loves to play with them as well. She sleeps in her crate at night and we haven’t had any trouble at all, rarely hear a peep out of her.  We don’t know anything about her history but she was initially very resistant to having a leash.  Didn’t bite or fight just whined.  She’s very sweet, has figured out potty training fairly quickly and is working on basic commands. She’s enjoyed playing with the boys and does great on walks. She’s done great with car rides, is very mellow and just relaxes for the trip. She’s not food aggressive but is still a little hungry coming over her shelter time.
Now she’s looking for her furever home with you. Contact Roxanne Sandt and complete your ABMR adoption paperwork.
