Josie is located in Colorado not far from Denver.

Josie came from CA as a puppy and then to NM where she found her way to a shelter and ABMR. It looks like Josie didn't have much of a puppy hood, but she making up for it now!! She can be a little shy in new places but this getting better with more socializing. She is a purebred Malinois with AKC lines in her background. 

This dog... !!!!!  Someone is going to be incredibly happy with her.  She's so happy and goofy. Now that she is settled in to her foster home she sticks around really well, they had a skid out all weekend in their pasture and she hung close. Went wandering around sometimes, came as soon as we called her. She really wanted to ride IN the skid but couldn't figure out how to get in. Lol. She's such a good girl and not too over the top, well, unless she wants to cuddle. Then she's way over the top trying to crawl into your skin . She does have some stranger danger when someone new comes into the house, but she has been visiting the local feed store and she has been doing really well, she even voluntarily goes up to meet people. She's just a gem. She's been doing really well in her kennel. She LOVES baby gates. As in loves flying over them like they aren't even there. ‍♀️ maybe agility in her future!!! She is good with the horses and goats and even the cat. Josie, is awesome, super loyal, wrestling is high on her priority list, she LOVES having another dog to play with, but she is also good at entertaining herself and loves her people once she's settled in.

Josie likes playing with toys and balls, but loses interest in fetch a little quicker than some other mals. She is very affectionate!!! Josie had not had prior training, and occasionally jumps up for attention. She is working on loose leash walking, sit and down. She is quick to learn and is crate trained. She has not had accidents in the kennel but has not had free range of the house. She has been introduced to smaller children, but because of her activity level small children are not recommended. She is good with other dogs, male and female, and plays like a mal with them. Note the attached videos!

Josie is going to do well with a VERY active family. Maybe some type of dog sport like agility or scent work. Josie will need to continue her socialization training so she will become comfortable out and about. She CANNOT be left in a yard unattended!! And will not do well left for long periods of time in her crate. Josie also cannot currently be left loose in her home......she is just a little bit to curious and will surely get into some kind of trouble.
