Dixie was picked up as a stray and came to ABMR through a shelter. She is a great dog! And will need an active home to keep her happy. She is BALL CRA CRA!!! And could be a lot of fun to train.

Dixie is a little busy body and she loves toys of all kinds. She will be a good family dog. However exercise will be good for her brain. She loves to snuggle and is the perfect size. Her foster mom works from home and Dixie is always by her side keeping her company. Dixie can be a little fussy with HER toys around other dogs, but this is easily handled. 

She's good with older kids and other dogs. She absolutely adores her fosters son and can't wait for him to come home from work everyday - check out the video.  Dixie is crate trained, potty trained, walks on leash, knows some basic commands and is thriving in her foster home. Dixie is heart worm positive and undergoing treatment. She will recover and be perfectly healthy and ready for her forever home soon so apply now!
