6-year old gorgeous Danny from Miami is a good boy, he loves people and bonds well with cats. He loves to cuddle and run on the beach, and play rough with other dogs.
He is afraid of thunder and knows how to open gates to escape.
In 2014 Danny suffered a break in his front leg which required metal plates and rods. For that reason, he cannot run as long or as fast as other dogs.
With a little work, Danny will be a wonderful companion for the right adopter. He does have separation anxiety and hates to be away from his person, so someone home all the time and able to spend time with him would be perfect.
Danny can get pushy and dominant, so will need a firm handler who won't allow this behavior. He knows basic commands but can be stubborn - he needs treat-bribery to get in his crate. His recall also needs some work.
