Finn is approximately 15 month old, Male, neutered, HW-, and located in ND.  Finn was pulled from a shelter in Missouri and brought in as a foster and was adopted.  However having two alpha males in a household has been problematic so he is going back up for adoption.  Finn is good with certain dogs, he gets along great with the female Black lab in the household.  He is good with older kids, do not know about younger kids.  He is friendly towards strangers, however he has a heck of a bark towards anyone coming up to the house.  He is crate trained, doesn’t love it but will go in on his own.  Finn is a golden retriever in a Malinois body.  He loves to cuddle, and he is a velcro dog.  He loves to chase balls.  He doesn’t tire out, but he does have an off switch.  He does need to get some exercise and or brain games, or he will pester his human into submission.  He is potty trained, and is very good in the house.  He did have some nips in regard to possessions early on, but with training that has not been an issue since the first week he was in foster.  Finn also loves to go for car rides and is good in the car.  He walks well.  If he starts to pull a little, with a leash correction he will be great for the rest of the walk.  His commands he knows are Platz (lay down), Sitz (Sit), Bleib (Stay), Come, down, up, place, leave it, Aus (drop it), ok (his release word), go.  Concepts that he knows, he will not take his food from his bowl until he is released.  He will not come out of his crate until he is released, food that hits the floor is not his until released.  He has to drop the ball and back away before we will pick it up when playing fetch.  His desire to learn new concepts is off the charts.  He loves to train. 

Finn is the perfect dog for a family that is on the go and takes him with, but is also content to just sit on the couch to watch Live PD (he loves Live PD).  He needs structure.  Boundaries need to be established and enforced by the entire household.  He will try to push those boundaries and will not listen to those that don’t enforce those boundaries.  He will be a great companion for someone looking for a Malinois that is a balanced dog.
