Enki is her name, she got a nick name of “Enki Dinky Do”.  She is the Sumerian god of water, knowledge, mischief, crafts, and creation.  She’s 6 years and 4 months and looking for her forever home.  She loves to go for walks and walks beautifully on the leash.  And, she loves to cuddle on the couch.  She’s very obedient and knows many commands.   She would make a great obedience and Rally dog.  She really enjoys hiking In the woods which is her new sport. 

Enki does well with other dogs big or small.  She wants to play and will let puppies bounce on her.  She’s insecure around younger children but does well with older children who are not afraid of her and know the breed.  Like many Malinois she doesn’t do well with cats or smaller animals like possums and squirrels   She would enjoy having a yard but would do well with plenty of walks. She could not be trusted off lead so if there is not a fenced yard her new family would have to have to commit to walking her regularly.  She tolerates a crate but is very good and not destructive and does not require crating.  She will respect a baby gate.  She can be shy with new people and takes some time to adjust in new surroundings. She prefers fetching stuff animals to chasing after balls

She was born in the Netherlands and imported by her former owner.  Her owners health was declining and she was no longer able to care for her.   Recently she was surrendered by her original owner who had her since she was a puppy.  While she was initially devastated from the loss of her owner, she has adapted beautifully in her foster home and can’t wait to start her life with her new family.
