Nika was purchased by a police officer with the intent of raising her to be a K9 but she wasn't environmentally stable enough to get accepted into a program. He kept her but then decided to get a fully trained K9. Nika doesn't get along with other dogs so he needed to rehome her so he could bring the new dog home.

She is 50 lbs, takes a bit to get comfortable with new people but will warm up if given a chance to decide for herself if you are ok. Bonded quickly to wife in foster home. Initially growled at foster husband but after about a week, has grown to love him.

Raised with a toddler but would not place her in a home with toddlers

NOT GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS

No anxiety with loud noises. Lots of toy drive - LOVES her ball. Crate trained, house trained, LOADs of prey drive. Rides well in the car.
