About Aurora - NM | |
Aurora was found chained in a back yard during the “Big Freeze” and had no shelter. She is now with a loving foster in NM learning all about good dog behavior! She is house and crate trained, loves her 2 Mal step sisters and her kitty housemate. She apparently did not receive enough socializing as a puppy so is playing catch up now. She can be slow to warm up to strangers but is making progress. She is learning basic leash manners, LOVES her balls and toys and appears to be a high drive girl that would be a good sport prospect from all indications. She is eager to learn and needs a family that will give her a job and boundaries, maybe that job is going for long hikes in the mountains or living on a ranch or learning a sport like barn hunt or dock diving. No apartments for this girl! But she is ready willing and able to keep up with whatever you want to teach her! She is typical female Malinois in size about 55lbs so not a large dog but petit and agile. She is a love bug and enjoys snuggling on the couch with her people. Because of her high energy we do not recommend small children. But another dog buddy would be welcome, one her size or larger. Small dogs will be ok too, she has lived with an elderly Boston Terrier.
ABMR thanks you for taking the time to look at our malinois available for adoption.
