Meet Texas Pachula! Located in San Antonio. Pachula was found living in a creek bottom with her 3 puppies. AMBR rescued the whole family. Once she was safe with a foster we discovered that she was having trouble walking. We had x-rays done and discovered that she has been probably been hit by a car sometime in the past. Both of her hips were broken and dislocated. One of our most wonderful Vets performed a FHO on one of her least damaged hips and she is healing very well and you can see from her video's doing very well.

Pachula LOVES everyone! She is a happy girl who gets along with other dogs and cats. Unknown about children. But we think with her temperament that older respectful children will be fine. She has not been tested with small dogs.

Pachula would do best with a family that will be happy to let her play in the back yard, take her for trips in the car and lounge in the house. If you have a pool or pond some swimming would be wonderful for her. She is crate trained and house trained and walks easy on a leash. She would be happy to learn some tricks or maybe some easy barn hunt activities. 

She does not need any further surgeries or medication. She is on an over the counter supplement that is good for her joints.
