Lucy was pulled from Animal and her er condition was horrible and only weighing 37 pounds upon their intake. Her original owners abandoned her and Animal Control was contacted. Lucy has been diagnosed with Mega Esophagus, a condition that the nerves in the esophagus don't work properly and cause it to expand and not empty food into the stomach. Dogs with untreated MegaE slowly starve to death and this is what was happening to this sweet girl. She is now in a loving home and gaining much needed weight. She loves playing with the squeaky toy, doesn't wonder far from her foster parents and is living the best life ever!!
