Captain is a sweet boy with a soft temperament estimated to be between 4 – 5 years old and currently located in Virginia.

He was found as a stray and taken to a shelter so not a lot is known about his background.  He seems to not have been exposed to a lot as everything seems to be a new adventure for him.  He can be cautious of men but will warm up when properly introduced. 

Captain is great with other dogs.  He seems to feel more confident and relaxed when in their company. 

He is crate trained but is also well behaved when left in the house for short periods of time.  He is a little anxious when left and benefits from having other dogs around. 

He walks nicely on leash and loves to go for rides in the car.  He is food motivated and eager to please so will be fun to train.

He seems to really like to get into the water

He would not be a good candidate for a home with a cat.

Captain will make a wonderful companion.  He is in search of a family that will make him part of the family and include him in family activities.
