Lary NKA Kane aka ‘Dreamboat’, ‘Chunkybum’,
His eyes, if he were human and you saw him in a pub the moment he looked at you the world would stop turning and nothing else around you would exist except the two of you. It’s like he’s looking into your soul, crazy but true.
He is incredibly sensitive and the most loving Mal we have ever had come though our house, he just wants to be with you wherever you are, he is the quintessential valcro Malinois…….
Kane will need someone who either works from home/retired or can take him to work with them as he does not like being without you.
He is house trained, crate trained, sleeps all night in his crate but (would prefer your bed), let’s you know if he needs to go potty.
He’s very food motivated, so using treats to train him would be very easy but (be careful of your fingers, he thinks they are little sausages).
He knows basic obedience but does need brushing up on it, he’s a smart boy so it wouldn’t take much. He wants to please so a competitive obedience sport would be great for him.
He didn’t seem to know what balls or toys were so we have been having fun showing him how to play, he now knows to bring the ball back and enjoys a good game of fetch and tug.
He has been great with our four dogs and does want to play so a home with either a male or female of the same size would be just fine, he has a high pray drive so no small animals.
He would probably do ok with older dog savvy kids if they gave him all the attention he needs. This is the dog you could to take around to hospitals/retirement homes because not only would he be getting loved on but he would put a smile on everyone’s face.
Kane is truely one in a million and whatever family gets to give him his forever home will have just won the lottery.
