St. Nick was abandoned at an ER vet with a broken leg. The staff fell in love with this sweet boy and reached out to ABMR right before Christmas to see if we could take him in. His injury was severe and required amputation.  Nick has adapted quickly and runs faster than his foster sister! He loves toys and enjoys tugging and playing fetch. Nick believed to be 10-12 months old. He loves people, cats and other dogs. Nick is very smart and quickly learned basic obedience, but will need his training to continue. He sleeps in his crate at night and is very quiet. Nick would love to have small dogs or big dogs in his adoptive household to play with! He is nervous in the car, but is learning that car rides can lead to great adventures. We would prefer a local placement to avoid the stress of a long transport.
