Spirit is a sweet, laid-back little boy with plenty of personality. He has met lots and lots of people and few other dogs and has done very well with all. He is much more confident around other dogs when his foster brother Zo, 10 year old Belgian Sheepdog, is near by.  Spirit would do best in a home with other dogs or the opportunity to socialized with well behaved dogs.

 

Spirit responds to his name quickly. Has learned to sit (some what calmly) for breakfast, dinner & cookie time. We are working on sit, down, wait, come, bedtime, 'kennel up,' and other basic household commands. He has earned his way out of the x-pen during the day because he is now consistent about indicating the need for a potty break.  When kenneled at night he will alert if he needs a potty break.
