Located in Jupiter, Florida

Ava was found as a stray and ended up at the shelter in Miami with a badly wounded foot. She had surgery to remove two toes and is now recovering in the hospital. 

Ava is a sweet girl, good with other dogs, loves people. 

Ava is new to rescue, and her foster is still getting to know her - she writes: 
She does not like doorways and was very nervous to go in the house, but was comfortable in the yard, and ate well once i got her inside.  She loves my husband and pulled me towards the kids very interested and happy to see them.  She did not seem interested or bothered by my doodle, and they had a nice walk together.  She is scared of sudden movements and loud noises, and hates going through doorways.
