Meet NM Ms Cam! Ms Cam is also known as Momma Cam. She came to ABMR as a stray with 7 beautiful 2 day old puppies known as the Poppy Puppies Litter. We believe that Cam could make an amazing emotional support dog. She is 2-3 years old 45lbs and the most loving gentle calm quiet Malinois you will ever meet. She is accepting of strangers and there doesn’t seem to be anything that phases her she loves all things big and small including children, dogs, cats, chickens and rabbits. Cam currently lives with a 4 year old girl and under strict supervision has sought her out for pets and loving. She has also met a 5 year old boy and shown no reaction. Cam came to us with no training but she is being fostered by a trainer and she gets a break once a day to do a little training. She also came to us with an underbite which you will see in her pictures. It does not effect her in anyway except for some messy eating. Cam is just a little shy and will do well in a quite home. She does not chew or destroy things. And she sadly doesn’t know what toys are. With time she may enjoy playing. As of now she is not food motivated. She craves the love of her people. She responds well to the command of “Come” and loves verbal praise and petting. She is great at all handling from nail trimming, bathing, brushing etc. Summary as of 6-6-22: Cam would likely make a great family or emotional support dog. She is very sweet, sensitive & calm. There would likely need to be slow introduction to pets and children, and her fear for noises will need to be taken into consideration. As of now slamming doors, and sharp noises scare her but not to the point of panic. Cam is available for adoption in about 6 weeks once her puppies are weaned and she has been spayed.
