Colt is 15 month old neutered male currently located in Maryland.  He is very small weighing in at 40 lbs.  

Colt was surrendered by his owner to a shelter.  From all indications, it appears that he was kept outside in a kennel his entire life with little socialization.  When his foster family pulled him from the shelter, they observed a very nervous dog that was terrified of everything, including people.  He would pace and flinch at quick movements.

But his awesome foster family has been working with him to build his confidence and teach him basic life skills such curbing his mouthiness, crate training, and house training and he is a totally different dog.  They leveraged his energetic personality and love for toys to teach him how to be a dog, a really confident dog that would win ribbons and trophies in barn hunt and dock diving.

Colt LOVES toys and is a master at stuffing multiple toys into his mouth at once (see photo).  It is his super power

He is extremely smart, a quick learner, loves his people, and a cuddle bug.  He will just come over and lay on you to be held and pet. It's the cutest thing.
