Female Belgian Malinois • Approx. 10 mos old • Spayed • Up to date on vaccinations • UTD on heartworm preventatives • UTD on flea/tick preventatives • Basic obedience has been established but needs maintenance. Knows Heel (right side, sit, down, bed) • Is Crate trained, sometimes moans and digs in crate, does quiet down after a bit. Rides perfectly quiet in crate in the car. • Well behaved while supervised in house- super in the house under rules & boundaries. Temperament/Sensitivity: • Fairly neutral and curious with strangers and slightly anxious with the unexpected. Does not want to be pet by all strangers. • Dislikes the vet and is very uncomfortable. She is currently working on her neutrality. She needs time to adjust to people & place (10min+) at vet specifically. Had bad experience with muzzle at vet. She does not need muzzle if you are present and advocate for her she does well. • Warms up to strangers with proper introductions. Has growled at a child while in crate. There is no reaction when seeing children nearby. I'm not sure about young children. • Very affectionate and wants to snuggle at all times. Medium- high energy level. Pushes boundaries by jumping and very vocal talking. • She can be pushy with other dogs and meeds supervision and reminders of boundaries from her handler around other dogs. She has lived with old neutral female Malinois and has gotten along very well. She also lives with a dominate male and has learned to give him space. They coexist peacefully with no issues. Personality is spicy as she won't start a fight but also won't back down from one. • No sound sensitivities identified yet. • When nervous or unsure, she will need a familiar person to handle for examination and grooming. Once comfortable, she will go with various ppl. • NOT cat tested, but does show some prey drive/curiosity with chickens
 Drive: Incredibly food motivated - which translates into productive training sessions • Toy drive is building started loving the ball. Loves pull out all toys from toy bin. • Loves to train and very eager to please and needs appropriate correction when testing boundaries. • Comfortable with prong collar. Takes correction well.
