Sasha is an 8 month old spayed female who weighs 45 lbs, and is up to date on all of her vaccines. She was brought into the shelter as a stray that was picked up when wandering the streets.   This girl is super sweet and very loving around her people. She was non-reactive to touching of her ears, paws, and stroking of her body. 

She gets a little overly excited when introduced to new dogs so it is best to approach introductions slowly and with supervision. Sasha is just a typical puppy but is doing very well in her foster home. She is very clean in her crate, when she is loose in the house if she has to go potty she goes and sits in front of a door (good girl!!).

She doesn’t interact with toys a whole lot inside but when she does, it is very cute as she loves to use her paws to move the toy around and in and out of her mouth. Outside she considers chasing things that move but is easily redirected. She walks well on a leash. She’s very responsive to learning new behaviors. Her foster mom uses her kibble as a reward.

Sasha will do best with a family that is committed to continuing her training.  She will definitely not do well with sharp or heavy handed training as she is a sot girl.   Sasha needs someone that can build her confidence and is willing to work with her consistently, giving her the mental stimulation she requires.  She is very willing to interact and learn but as a puppy, she has a short attention span.  Sasha has enormous potential.
