Please welcome Timmy to the ABMR family.
Timmy was found abandoned and tied up near a school in NC.  The man who eventually took him to a local shelter was named Tim, hence the name Timmy.  Timmy is a sweetheart.  He is a young male, about 2 yes old, and currently 50 lbs.  His coat was not in the best condition probably due to poor food and living conditions, but it has already improved dramatically.  Though he is nervous and timid to begin with, he warms up with patience and love.  He is a smart boy and loves attention.  He gets along with dogs big and small and does not show much of a prey drive (he was not interested in his foster mom’s horses nor much negative interest in a brief introduction to a cat).  He is learning about toys and balls.  He makes his foster mom laugh when she watches his dog trot which is somewhat of a sashay/amble which she is calling a “shamble" and when he lays down and softly groans after a day out and about.  Timmy has not shown any aggression.  He is a little mouthy when he gets happy and excited when he sees his foster mom come home, but otherwise he has been gentle and cautious.  He is learning basic commands and is crate trained.  Timmy will make a wonderful addition to his forever family.
