Meet
Eris, a sweet Georgia girl! She is an 8-year-old Malinois in search of a new home. She was adopted from a shelter at the age of 1 year and has been loved by the same family for the last 7 years. Due to some recent changes in the home that have caused a lack of attention to her needs, she has become a bit stressed. Her family has decided it is in her best interest to find a new home, one that can give her all the physical and mental stimulation she deserves.
Our evaluator was able to walk her on leash. She does pull some, but this could be due to lack of practice.
He was able to touch her ears, body, feet, tail, and examine her teeth with no issues.
She took treats once she became comfortable with him and offered her paw.
Eris currently lives with a small dog, a cat, and children under the age of 10, but she will need a home with a little less activity to feel comfortable, to feel herself.
Her family reports that she is crate trained, house trained, and knows the following commands:
sit, lay down, shake, high five, stay, and waits to eat until told “go.” She used to know other commands but is out of practice.
Eris will be fostering in an active home, but with less household activity. More information coming soon!
